Job Summary
This role is responsible for the dismantling, cleaning, repairing, and testing of vacuum pumps. The position also supports maintenance documentation, prepares inspection reports, and assists with other workshop-related tasks assigned by Line Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform vacuum pump disassembly, cleaning, repairing, and testing activities.
- Operate workshop equipment, including pre-wash machines, sandblasting machines, and ultrasonic cleaning machines.
- Operate testing equipment and maintain related records and documentation.
- Prepare preliminary inspection reports for pump teardown findings and controller evaluations.
- Support maintenance and repair documentation management.
- Perform other workshop-related duties and tasks assigned by Line Manager.
Qualifications and Skills
- Education Background: Associate degree or above, degree in a mechanical engineering or electrical engineering field is a plus.
- Work Experience: Experience working in a manufacturing environment is a plus, and experience working with mechanical equipment, industrial machinery, or vacuum technology is preferred.
- Technical Skills & Certifications: Basic computer literacy is required. Relevant certifications in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering are a plus, and Crane Operator (0.5 to under 3 tons) Training Certificate (吊升荷重在零點五公噸以上未滿三公噸之固定式起重機操作人員安全衛生教育訓練) and Rigger and Signalman Safety Training Certificate (使用起重機具從事吊掛作業人員安全衛生教育訓練) are required.
- Soft Skills: Organized, detail-oriented and good team spirit.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry heavy materials or equipment and ability to stand and move within the production and testing areas for extended periods are required.
