Position Overview
To strengthen local technical support for valves, this position aims to establish technical expertise. The goal is to develop a sustainable, local repair and customer support capability
Key Responsibilities
1. Repair and Technical Expertise
- Master valve repair procedures provided by Global Service Engineering
- Train local workshop staff on valve repair processes
- Support technicians during complex repairs and ensure quality control of operations
2. Customer Support
- Perform on-site installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of valves at customer facilities
- Identify and resolve customer-specific application issues
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with local clients
3. Local Expertise Development
- Gain deep understanding of valve applications to deliver tailored solutions
- Serve as the local technical reference for all valve-related topics
- Maintain regular communication with global expert centers ( Yreka, South Korea)
Profile Requirements
Education
- Degree (Associate to Master level) in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanics, Instrumentation, or related fields
Experience
- Proven experience in maintenance, field service, or vacuum/industrial equipment support
- Experience with valve components is a strong advantage
Technical Skills
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and technical schematics
- Proficiency in repair and diagnostic tools
- Understanding of safety procedures and protocols
Soft Skills
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and proactive
- Ability to train and coach others
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Willingness to travel frequently for customer support
Languages
- Technical English proficiency required (documentation, communication with global teams
