Job summary

To develop and analyze demand forecasts, align supply–demand, coordinate with Sales, Supply Chain, Production, and Procurement, and support the monthly/ quarterly S&OP process to achieve service, inventory, and OTIF targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demand Planning
  • Collect data from sales, marketing, order processing, and sales record from internal customers.
  • Analyze historical data, consumption trends, and market factors.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasts.
  • Monitor forecast accuracy & bias and recommend improvement actions.
  • Supply Review & Capacity Alignment
  • Work with supply chain, production, and procurement to confirm supply capabilities.
  • Assess risks related to shortages, excess inventory, or capacity constraints.
  • Propose scenarios and solutions for supply–demand gaps.
  • S&OP Process Management
  • Prepare documents for demand review, supply review, pre‑S&OP, and executive S&OP meetings.
  • Update relevant dashboards/KPIs: OTIF, forecast accuracy, inventory vs target.
  • Track action items and follow up after S&OP meetings.
  • Cross‑Functional Coordination
  • Facilitate communication across sales, supply chain, production, and procurement.
  • Ensure consistency in data, forecasts, and planning inputs.
  • Support issue escalation and resolution for supply–demand alignment.
  • Reporting & Data Analysis
  • Update forecast, inventory, lead time, and consumption data.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly/quarterly reports as required.
  • Analyze trends and recommend improvements for the S&OP process.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Chinese & English is an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business, engineering, or related fields.
  • 3 years of experience in S&OP, demand planning, supply planning, or data analytics.
  • Experience with ERP (SAP) or forecasting tools preferred.
  • Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in Excel/ Power BI.
  • Logical thinking and ability to handle complex datasets.
  • Effective communication and cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Strong presentation and reporting skills.
  • Able to work with large datasets, identify trends, detect deviations, and generate meaningful insights for planning.
  • Uses root‑cause analysis, impact assessment, and scenario planning to address supply‑demand imbalances.
  • Understands connections between Sales, S&OP, supply chain, production, and procurement to build feasible and optimized plans.
  • Manages workload based on business impact and ensures timely completion of forecasts and planning cycles.
  • Handles multiple tasks simultaneously and adapts quickly to demand changes, supply issues, or lead‑time shifts.
  • Ensures precise forecast inputs and clean data, which are critical to effective S&OP outcomes.
