Job Summary

As a Quality Assurance System, you are responsible for maintaining, monitoring and continuously improving the Quality Management System (QMS) of the site. You run the internal audit programme, coordinate external and supplier audits, and make sure that non-conformances raised by customers or by manufacturing are investigated and closed with sustainable corrective actions. You own the quality documentation framework (SOP, IP, reports) and the quality training programme, and you turn quality data into insight through structured reporting and Power BI dashboards. This role combines quality system expertise with auditing discipline, structured problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Quality System Management
    • Improve, maintain and monitor the Quality Management System (QMS) in Pfeiffer Vacuum Vietnam.
    • Create, update and control quality documentation: Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Internal Procedures (IP) and related reports.
    • Ensure the QMS remains aligned with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements.
    • Support the Engineering team in translating and deploying technical specifications.
  • Non-Conformance & Corrective Action
    • Coordinate with the relevant departments to investigate the root cause of customer and manufacturing non-conformances.
    • Drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) through to closure and verify their effectiveness.
    • Consolidate lessons learned and feed them back into procedures, inspection plans and training.
  • Internal & External Audit
    • Implement and run the Internal Audit Program, including process and product audits.
    • Coordinate external audits (certification body and customer) and support supplier audits.
    • Follow up audit findings until closure and confirm that corrective actions are sustainable.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting
    • Monitor and issue the quality reports (weekly and monthly).
    • Develop, maintain and improve Power BI dashboards to monitor quality performance, customer issues and manufacturing non-conformance trends.
    • Analyse quality data to identify trends and prioritise improvement actions.
  • Training Program Management
    • Train new operators and deploy new SOP and IP relevant to Quality.
    • Support the training of QC staff and follow up on their competence level.
    • Participate in new projects and in training initiatives.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Initiate and support improvement projects based on audit results, non-conformance data and quality KPIs.
    • Act as a voice of quality in daily meetings, project reviews and cross-functional workshops.
  • Other Duties
    • Handle other requests from the Manager.
    • Comply with the Company's regulations and policies as well as the EHS instructions.

Qualifications

  • Functional Competencies
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
    • 3+ years of experience in a quality management role in a manufacturing environment.
    • Strong understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
    • Experience with internal auditing and CAPA activities.
    • Proficient in MS Office, SAP and Power BI; knowledge of QMS software systems.
  • Methodological Competencies
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Experience with root cause analysis and implementation of sustainable corrective actions.
    • Structured documentation and reporting skills (SOP, IP, audit and quality reports).
    • Ability to interpret quality data and translate it into decisions and dashboards.
  • Leadership & Interpersonal Competencies
    • Good command of English, written and spoken, for international collaboration.
    • Able to work independently as well as within a cross-functional team.
    • Effective communicator with Production, Engineering, suppliers and customers.
    • Able to train, coach and follow up the competence level of others.
    • Strong sense of ownership and commitment to quality culture and continuous improvement.
