Description


We are seeking a Service Sales Engineer in our Italian market to join our dynamic sales team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving service sales by leveraging their technical expertise, understanding of customer needs, and strong communication skills. He/She will be responsible for promoting and selling our service offerings, maintaining client relationships, and contributing to the growth of the service business. 

Responsibilities

 

  • Sales of the entire Busch Group service product portfolio to our customers in the Industrial market in all of Italy.
  • Responsible for achieving Service Sales targets across all Italian markets relevant to the Busch Group. Defines and aligns growth objectives with the Sales and Marketing teams, ensuring their achievement through structured follow-up and performance tracking.
  • Development of Service Sales strategies for accounts by providing the customer’s current business and long-term plans.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and competitive services.
  • Identify and pursue new service sales opportunities with existing and potential clients.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to generate leads, opportunities and convert prospects into clients.
  • Define, negotiate, and formalize Service Contracts with customers, ensuring alignment with technical requirements, commercial conditions, and company policies.
  • Develop value-based service proposals integrating maintenance, digital tools, and lifecycle support.
  • Promote data-driven and IoT-enabled service solutions to enhance system reliability, predictive maintenance, and customer value.
  • Work closely with the technical team to develop customized solutions that meet client requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, marketing, and customer support, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Responsible for submitting service sales forecasts supported by market trends, competition, etc.
  • Utilize C4 SAP CRM to manage opportunities, track customer interactions, and ensure accurate service sales reporting.
  • Comply with all health and safety initiatives to ensure the Company remains a safe workplace.

 

Your background

 

  • A bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electromechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 4 years of sales/engineering experience in Service, aftermarket business environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple, divergent priorities, and work independently with a high degree of accuracy to meet customer requirements and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Thorough knowledge and positive demonstration of the company’s purpose, values, code of conduct, business model and related processes, services and price / discount structure / policies.
  • A customer service focus, sense of urgency to meet or exceed customer expectations, and achieve daily commitments.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels both within the company and externally.
  • Fluent Italian and English spoken and written.
  • IT proficiency (Microsoft Office tools/ CRM), SAP – Fiori Module will be a plus.
  • Valid Drivers licence (B) and the willingness to travel up to 50% within the territory and Italy.
