Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead and supervise the workshop team, ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations
  • Plan, schedule and monitor all repair activities to ensure timely completion and adherence to quality standards
  • Optimize workflow by effectively allocating workshop resources, including manpower, tools and equipment
  • Drive cost control initiatives and ensure achievement of all workshop-related KPIs
  • Manage inventory levels of repair parts and materials to support operational needs
  • Analyze equipment failures and implement corrective and preventive actions
  • Monitor team workload and performance to maintain high productivity and quality output
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety and environmental regulations
  • Ensure accurate and complete documentation of all repair and servicing activities
  • Maintain workshop infrastructure, including equipment and tools and ensure adherence to preventive maintenance plans
  • Develop team capabilities through training, coaching and mentoring
  • Support the introduction and transfer of new pump models into repair operations
  • Lead in cost saving initiatives and continuous process improvement projects
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Degree / Diploma holder in Engineering with minimum 3-5 years of supervisory experience in maintenance, repair and operations of industrial equipment.
  • Experience with vacuum pumps and vacuum systems is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with SAP system is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and results-driven.
  • High level of integrity, accountability and self-motivation.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Ability to inspire, engage and influence teams and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and manage materials, capacity and resources effectively.
  • Strong commercial awareness with ability to manage and optimize operational costs.
