Key Responsibilities
- Technical Service: Perform on-site installation, routine preventive maintenance, and urgent repairs for complex machinery.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or software errors and implement effective solutions.
- Customer Support: Provide technical training to clients on equipment operation and upkeep, ensuring they understand how to use products effectively.
- Documentation: Create detailed service reports, documents repair processes, PID, instruction manual and spare parts list interpretation, able to follow work repair instructions
- Resource Management: managing inventory of replacement parts and specialized tools.
- Root cause analysis and perform vacuum check to identify new business opportunities.
- Technical advice to customers
- Present and convince the customer for the benefits of original spare parts, services, maintenance contracts and other Service Products
- Work according to DIN EN ISO 9001, implementation of the LEAN methodology
- Independent execution of the repair or cooperation with the central workshops as required
- Intensive customer contact and associated regional travel activity, occasionally also on weekends
Qualifications
Mechanical or mechatronics background, electrical qualification is an advantage
• Professional experience in vacuum pumps and the field servicing industrial customers
• Knowledge of English is an advantage
• Basic computer, e-mails, and MS-Office skills
• Sense of urgency, responsibility, reliability, commitment, independence, flexibility
• Willingness to travel, even on the weekends when necessary
• Customer oriented, ability to make product demonstration and solution selling
• Ability to convince the customer of the importance on using original spare parts
• At least one year of experience in the field
• Interest or experience in vacuum technology
• Independent way of working
• Strong ability to work in a team
• High service orientation
