Position Summary
E2E has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Engineer (Design & Documentation) to join its growing engineering team. The position supports the development of advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment and vacuum technology platforms, with a strong focus on electrical design accuracy, documentation control, and engineering quality.
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for creating, maintaining, and controlling electrical design documentation for complex electromechanical systems. Key deliverables include electrical schematics, block diagrams, single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, cable harness documentation, network and interconnection drawings, grounding and bonding documentation, component libraries, bills of material, cable schedules, terminal lists, and wire lists.
This role requires practical experience with AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN Electric P8, EPLAN Cable Pro / Harness proD, IEC standards, IEEE/ANSI standards, electrical item numbering, P&ID cross-referencing, network and grounding documentation, and disciplined revision control. The position works closely with Mechanical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Project Management to ensure electrical design outputs are accurate, manufacturable, traceable, and compliant with internal and international standards.
Key Responsibilities

- Provide necessary documents during tax inspections or audits
- Design and develop electrical schematics, block diagrams, and single-line diagrams in accordance with IEC and IEEE/ANSI standards.
- Create and update wiring diagrams, control circuits, panel layouts, terminal diagrams, and electrical layouts using AutoCAD Electrical and EPLAN Electric P8 2026.
- Develop 2D and 3D cable harness designs using EPLAN Cable Pro / Harness proD 2026.
- Perform P&ID numbering and cross-referencing for electrical drawings and related control documentation.
- Develop and maintain network communication drawings, grounding and bonding drawings, and equipment interconnecting cable drawings for system integration.
- Prepare network topology, communication interconnection, grounding, bonding, shielding, and cable routing documentation where required by the equipment design.
- Create, maintain, and standardize electrical component and item codes in the EPLAN parts database, including component, manufacturer, community, and item code creation.
- Prepare bills of material, cable schedules, terminal lists, wire lists, and related manufacturing documentation.
- Coordinate with Mechanical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Project Management to ensure design accuracy, manufacturability, and timely release of documentation.
- Review and validate drawings for compliance with company standards, IEC standards, IEEE/ANSI standards, and project-specific requirements.
- Support prototype builds, system integration, troubleshooting, commissioning support, and implementation of approved design changes.
- Maintain documentation control, revision history, and traceability for all electrical drawings and related engineering deliverables.

- Good understanding of electrical and electronics fundamentals, including control circuits, power distribution, wiring practices, grounding principles, bonding practices, shielding principles, and panel wiring requirements.
- Practical knowledge of cable harness design, cable schedules, wire lists, terminal lists, cable routing, installation requirements, and manufacturability considerations.
- Understanding of network communication drawings, network topology documentation, grounding networks, and equipment interconnection drawings.
- Understanding of P&ID numbering, cross-referencing, and traceability between process, controls, mechanical, network, grounding, and electrical documentation.
Technical Competencies

- Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical for schematic design, wiring documentation, layout updates, and drawing maintenance.
- Proficient in EPLAN Electric P8 for electrical engineering, documentation control, and project-based drawing development.
- Hands-on experience with EPLAN Cable Pro / Harness proD for 2D and 3D cable harness design.
- Ability to develop network communication, grounding, bonding, shielding, and interconnecting cable documentation for industrial equipment.
- Understanding of EMC-conscious wiring practices, grounding concepts, shielding methods, and separation of power, signal, control, and communication cabling.
- Strong understanding of IEC schematic, drafting, and documentation standards.
- Strong understanding of IEEE/ANSI schematic and drafting standards.
- Experience with P&ID numbering, electrical symbol management, part libraries, macros, and component database administration.
- Knowledge of electrical component and item code creation, item numbering logic, and data consistency within EPLAN.
- Ability to prepare and maintain bills of material, cable schedules, terminal lists, wire lists, and controlled release documentation.

- Support project execution by delivering accurate electrical design and documentation outputs in line with agreed timelines and milestones.
- Coordinate electrical documentation activities with project schedules, engineering reviews, prototype builds, manufacturing requirements, and release planning.
- Support design reviews, technical discussions, prototype builds, integration activities, troubleshooting, and design verification activities.
- Communicate progress, risks, documentation gaps, and required engineering inputs clearly to relevant stakeholders.

- Work according to defined engineering procedures, document control requirements, drawing standards, and revision control practices.
- Maintain structured, traceable, and accurate electrical design documentation across all assigned projects.
- Ensure released drawings, component data, cable data, network data, grounding data, and related deliverables are reviewed, approved, and controlled before use.

- Implement approved engineering changes in electrical drawings, component libraries, cable schedules, bills of material, network drawings, grounding documentation, and related documentation.
- Maintain clear revision history and traceability for all electrical design changes.
- Support controlled release of updated documentation to Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, and other relevant stakeholders.

Additional Qualifications

- Exposure to harness manufacturing processes and cable or wire specifications is preferred.
- Familiarity with PLM or PDM systems for drawing release and revision control is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of panel wiring, assembly practices, and industrial workmanship standards is preferred.
- Experience with industrial networking, grounding, bonding, shielding, and interconnection documentation is preferred.
- Experience in semiconductor equipment, automation, vacuum technology, or industrial equipment environments is an advantage.

- 3-4 years of relevant hands-on experience in electrical schematic design, cable harness engineering, electrical documentation, and industrial equipment wiring documentation.
- Demonstrated experience using AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN Electric P8, and EPLAN Cable Pro / Harness proD in an industrial engineering environment.
