Position Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead industrial transfer and industrialization projects in a manufacturing environment involving machining and mechanical assembly. The role involves managing product transfers between sites and ensuring successful ramp-up, including budgeting, FAI, PPAP, process development, and production readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead full-cycle product transfer projects across sites
- Manage project budget, schedule, and resources
- Coordinate industrialization: process validation, work instructions, tooling
- Ensure FAI and PPAP completion
- Oversee machinery installation and integration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Manage risks and corrective actions
- Train production/technical staff
- Support production ramp-up to meet KPIs
- Report project progress and key milestones
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or similar
- 3–5 years experience in manufacturing project management
- Knowledge of machining (lathes, milling), assembly, lean principles
- Experience with industrialization, FAI, PPAP, transfers
- Proficient in project tools (e.g., MS Project)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organization
- Ability to manage cross-functional priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP or Prince2 certification
- Experience in multi-site or multinational environments
- ERP knowledge (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Familiarity with tooling, layout, or automation
