Main Tasks and Responsibilities :
- Project Leadership & Execution :
- Own and manage complex, cross-functional supply chain projects from initiation through completion, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery (Global S&OP, Order Execution, Ariba, Regional Distribution Center,…)
- Translate strategic objectives into structured action plans, define project scopes, objectives, deliverables, milestones, success criteria and KPIs in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Organize regular project update meetings, reporting progress and managing expectations with stakeholders.
- Identify potential project risks early and develop mitigation strategies.
- Resolve issues and contribute to team engagement across all phases of the project.
- Ensure sustainable implementation of new processes working closely with the local supply chain teams and GM.
- Provide transparent communication with the stakeholders.
- Report project progress and escalate issue to Global Head of Supply Chain.
- S&OP and Production Planning Project
- Support introduction of standardized supply chain processes based on order execution outcome
- Identify and manage impact of Global Busch S&OP in the production plants to ensure alignment with local supply chain.
- Coordinate and follow up on action plans / work-packages at Group level to solve delivery and planning performance issues.
- Ensure consistent application of planning standards while respecting site-specific constraints.
- Supplier Operational Performance Project
- Support the introduction of group-wide material planning standards in coordination with Production units and Group Procurement.
- Contribute to ensuring material availability through effective forecasting and aligned supply chain strategies.
- Promote digitalization and automation of planning and transactional processes to improve reliability and efficiency.
- Logistics & Warehouse Optimization
- Support the establishment and continuous improvement of group-wide logistics standards to ensure high delivery service levels.
- Lead initiatives to improve internal material flows within plants and between factories.
- Contribute to improving the global value stream of finished goods to enhance customer experience.
- Support optimization initiatives related to warehouse operations and internal logistics.
- Reporting, KPIs & Performance Monitoring
- Support implementation of Supply Chain & Logistics KPIs and monitoring tools.
- Define and track project KPIs to ensure project completion on time, on budget and on target.
- Support Global Head of Supply Chain with clear, fact-based projects analysis and reporting.
- Analyze post-project performance to inform future initiatives and increase efficiency.
- Optimize project management tools, templates, and workflows.
Profile :
- Functional Competencies
- Strong understanding of end‑to‑end supply chain processes in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with demand planning, material planning, and production planning concepts
- Ability to work effectively at the interface between Supply Chain, Production, Sales, and Procurement in an international environment.
- Practical experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP) and supply chain data structures
- Understanding of internal logistics, warehouse operations, and finished goods flows
- Methodological Competencies
- Proven ability to lead cross‑functional, multi‑site projects from conception to implementation
- Structured approach to process design, standardization, and rollout
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, using data to support decisions
- Experience working with supply chain KPIs (e.g., service level, inventory, lead time)
- Continuous improvement mindset (Lean, process optimization, standard work)
- Leadership & Interpersonal Competencies
- Strong ability to influence and align cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Ability to communicate clearly across diverse functions and cultures — verbally and in writing.
- Works cooperatively, resolves conflicts constructively, and balances interests across departments.
- High sense of responsibility for meeting deadlines and delivering on quality standards.
- Resilience in navigating ambiguity, shifting priorities, and global matrix organizations.
