Busch Vacuum Solutions has a direct-hire opportunity for a Vice President Sales, a remote work opportunity. 


The Vice President of Sales is responsible for establishing the sales targets to meet the company objectives. This involves leading and directing a sales team or department to meet or exceed the agreed sales target(s), sales profitability, and sustainable growth. The role involves strategic planning, managing people, selling, leveraging technology, and improving processes to promote sales growth and customer satisfaction for the

Job Responsibilities

  • Drives strategic plans through proper analysis and understanding of the market size, market potential, needs of the market(s), and SWOT analysis of the competition.
  • Develops an annual sales plan to support the organization’s high-level growth plans and objectives.
  • Directs implementation and execution of sales policies and practices.
  • Ensures communications are coordinated, supports sales plan objectives, and meets organizational expenditure requirements in conjunction with marketing.
  • Recommends sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analyses.
  • Implements a well-planned territory management model, i.e., either direct or with sales distribution partners.
  • Manages multiple channel selling strategies.
  • Builds, develops, and manages sales teams that carry out needed sales and service initiatives.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned


Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree: Required, Field of Study: Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Sales, and Marketing or related field.
  • Master's Degree - MBA Preferred
  • 10 to 15 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Experience with industrial vacuum business or rotating equipment sales will be an asset.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, prior experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and CRM (Customer Relationship Management): Preferred
  • Certifications & Licenses: Must maintain a valid driver’s license throughout employment


Personal Qualifications

  • 10+ years of proven experience in sales of rotating equipment pumps, vacuum pumps, blowers, and related systems.
  • Relevant market experience and expertise related to the fine vacuum field.
  • Strong understanding of vacuum industry markets, customers, products, dynamics, competition, and influential players will be an asset
  • Analytical and financial justification knowledge and skills.
  • Proven ability to influence others and execute a plan.
  • Excellent English oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of technical/mechanical concepts and good mechanical aptitude
  • Detail, safety and customer-oriented
  • Good decision-making and problem-solving abilities
  • Good work values, ethics, and integrity, and the ability to influence your team to demonstrate the same


Job Requirements

  • Ability and willingness to pass a 10-panel drug screen, 7-year criminal history check
    • Most felonies are a disqualifier; misdemeanors are considered on a case-by-case basis
  • Must be willing and able to utilize all required PPE
  • Physical Requirements
    • Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and manually manipulating
    • Occasional reaching above the shoulder or outward, and lifting/carrying/pushing pulling up to 20lbs
    • All applicants must be able to hear and see audible and visual alarms and must be able to wear all required PPE, such as safety shoes, electrical hazards, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
