Busch Vacuum Solutions has an immediate direct-hire opportunity open for a Regional Sales Manager for Massachusetts. Residency in Massachusetts is required. This position requires up to 75% travel with moderate overnight travel. 

 

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the management of all sales activities within their assigned geographical territory. This position is responsible for developing and delivering annual sales growth of Busch products and services in compliance with the strategic plan, as outlined by the US Sales Director.

POSITION SUMMARY

 

The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) drives revenue by proactively engaging customers to promote service solutions including field service contracts, in-house equipment repairs, and spare parts kits. With a strong customer service focus, the ISR responds to inbound inquiries, identifies upselling opportunities, and converts spare part requests into service sales. This role is pivotal in driving customer retention and maximizing service revenue.

Customer Engagement & Sales Growth

  • Respond quickly and professionally to customer requests via phone, email, and web sources.
  • Proactively upsell service products such as field service maintenance contracts, first party service repairs, and spare parts kits.
  • Follow up on recent spare parts quotes to close additional service business.

Quoting & CRM Excellence

  • Generate accurate and timely quotes for spare parts and products using SAP/CRM.
  • Log all customer interactions, opportunities, and quotes in CRM to ensure transparency and forecast accuracy.

Service-Focused Collaboration

  • Partner with Sales Managers, Service Center Coordinators, and Field Service Coordinators  to ensure seamless handoff and fulfillment of service products.
  • Support Sales Managers and Business Development Managers by identifying service leads from spare parts or equipment inquiries.

Customer Education & Relationship Building

  • Clearly communicate the value of Busch service preventative maintenance contracts, and Busch first party repairs in support of customer uptime and cost savings.
  • Educate customers on lifecycle costs and benefits of proactive service planning.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships through consistent follow-up, service reminders, and excellent after-sales support.

Process Improvement & Feedback

  • Provide input to refine service workflow, quoting processes, and customer communication best practices.
  • Share customer insights with marketing and product marketing managers to improve service packaging and promotions.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

 

Education:

 

Bachelor's Degree (four-year college or technical school) Preferred

 

Experience:

 

  • 2+ years of inside sales or customer support experience, ideally in industrial equipment or services.
  • Strong customer service orientation with ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

 

Computer Skills:

 

  • Proficiency with CRM and ERP systems such as Salesforce or SAP.

 

Other Requirements:

 

Clear communication skills with an ability to explain technical service offerings in customer-friendly terms.
