Busch Vacuum Solutions has an immediate direct hire opportunity open for a Customer Success Specialist at our Regional Distribution Center in Chesapeake, Virginia!
The Customer Success Specialist is pivotal in building and maintaining positive relationships with customers, managing the end-to-end sales order process, and ensuring the high-quality delivery of services and products. Job Responsibilities
- Receive sales orders from customers or sales staff via phone, email, or fax.
- Set up, enter, and process sales orders.
- Process repair orders for select key accounts and execute contracts, with guidance or supervision.
- Quote price and delivery.
- Maintain records of sales orders, order status, ship date, availability, and back orders.
- Achieve departmental KPIs and Quality objectives.
- Process requests for credit and return goods authorizations from customers.
- Review orders for accurate billing/shipping information, terms, delivery, correct prices, part numbers, and descriptions.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with external and internal customers in a positive and supportive manner.
- Log into customer portals to acknowledge orders, submit quotes, or retrieve POs for order placement.
- Verify that special contract pricing is approved and accurately entered into the system.
- Proficiently process repair orders for select key accounts and execute contracts.
- Plan and forecast product for key accounts.
- Take responsibility for implementing process improvement actions.
- Resolve production, shipping, scheduling, and invoicing problems.
- Authorize requests for credit and return goods authorizations from customers.
- Enter special customer contract pricing and special factory purchase pricing into the system accurately.
- Support the team by processing credits, archiving orders, releasing orders to invoice, and looking up serial numbers in factory databases.
- Assist in training entry-level employees.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Typically requires 3-5 years of experience in an administrative capacity, with in-depth knowledge of customer support functions and a demonstrated ability to work under time pressure.
- Experience in a service-related industry is preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and experience with ERP systems.
- Valid Drivers’ License (must be maintained throughout employment that meets Busch insurance standards): Required

Job Requirements
- Ability and willingness to pass a 10-panel drug screen, 7-year criminal history check
- Most felonies are a disqualifier, misdemeanors are considered on a case-by-case basis
- Must be willing and able to utilize all required PPE
- Ability and willingness to travel (up to 10%) domestically and internationally to include overnights
Physical Requirements
- Constant reaching outward, lifting/carrying/pushing pulling up to 10lbs
- Frequent standing, walking, sitting, lifting/carrying/pushing pulling up to 25lbs
- Occasional climbing, squatting, kneeling, reaching above the shoulder, and lifting/carrying/pushing pulling up to 50lbs
- All applicants must be able to hear and see audible and visual alarms and must be able to wear all required PPE, such as safety shoes, electrical hazards, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
