Business Line Manager - Semi Scientific OEM and KAM

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for leading business development in the semi-scientific industry? Busch Group, encompassing Busch Vacuum Solutions, Pfeiffer Vacuum, and Centrotherm, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Line Manager – Semi-Scientific OEM and KAM. In this key role, you'll be responsible for our product portfolio and solutions offering for all OEM and key accounts in the semi-scientific market segments in the USA.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Manage overall business development and global sales strategy for assigned OEM and key accounts in the semi-scientific market segment. Work closely with management, engineering, factory, marketing, and materials professionals within both the customers’ and our organization.
  • Identify business opportunities and key decision-makers at the customer(s); develop account strategies; prepare and deliver sales presentations; participate in technical meetings utilizing internal resources; negotiate contracts; and manage joint technical projects.
  • Review customer requirements and present company products to meet those needs. Ensure that our products are specified in customer equipment. Work closely with our factories and product development teams to communicate customer needs and requirements.
  • Coordinate new product introductions. Arrange for product demonstrations, plant tours, training events, and other activities that promote understanding of company products to customers.
  • Define account strategies, budgets, resource requirements, goals, and priorities globally.
  • Align global pricing, contracts, and commercial terms. Communicate information globally in a timely manner.
  • Prepare regular progress reports and ensure that data is accurately entered into the company CRM system in a timely and thorough manner.
  • Communicate with other departments and customers to ensure satisfactory customer support.
  • Forecast sales volume for assigned accounts.
  • Meet established sales quotas and revenue goals.
  • Be responsible for the P&L and Net Working Capital (NWC) of the company along with the Busch Group USA Management team.
  • Travel regularly to support local account managers of the global key account, visit customers, and ensure global strategic alignment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
  • Experience: 10+ years in the semi-scientific market in sales or applications, with at least 5 years of management experience.
  • Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and persuasive abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP and CRM experience preferred.
  • Licenses: Valid driver's license required.
