Responsibilities & accountabilities:

  • Managing and prioritizing team for routine maintenance on The Vacuum Pumps, Systems & equipment.
  • Responsible for service business and profitability in the assigned territory
  • Ensuring a right mix of after sales support as: service, installation, warranty management, AMC/CMC, value selling, spare parts, Cross selling.
  •  Ability to guide team for making right diagnose of issue in the supplied machines.
  •  Implement effective solutions to minimize equipment downtime.
  •  Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients.
  •  Assist in the installation and setup of new supplied equipment and synchronization with the customer application.
  •  Provide training and support to clients and team on equipment operation and maintenance.
  •  Maintain detailed records of service activities and repairs.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve service processes.
  •  Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  •  Prepare and submit service/business reports and documentation. Well versed with Microsoft, ERP, and other related software.
  • Help in Managing & provide feedback on inventory of spare parts and tools.
  •  Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  •  Respond to emergency service requests in a timely manner.
  •  Coordinate and collaborate with other departments to resolve complex issues.
  •  Provide feedback to product development teams based on client experiences.
  •  Ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and service delivery.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.

 

Desired profile:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in mechanical, electrical & chemical engineering with 7-12 Year Experience for Service Engineer
  • 3-4 years of experience in Team management (team size of 5-8 engineers)
  • Leadership experience with technical skills
  • Preference for candidate from Vacuum Pump/process Industry.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel as per business plan
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Proficiency in reports and business analysis of assigned region
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Able to work under pressure and strict timelines, ability to manage different priorities
