Busch Vacuum Solutions is a leading manufacturer of vacuum pumps, compressors, and blowers for use in industries such as semiconductor manufacturing, food processing, metallurgy, biomedical, and material handling.

 

Busch Vacuum Solutions has an immediate direct-hire opportunity open for a Regional Service Sales Manager for the Northeast US/New England territory!  Residency within the region is required.  This position requires up to 75% travel with moderate overnight travel, depending upon location of residency.

The Regional Service Sales Manager is responsible for growing the aftermarket business that supports our Field Service and Service Center Businesses.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Territory and Regional Sales Managers in their territory providing our customers with comprehensive sales and service options for the Lifecycle of their systems.  This includes:
    • Digital Services (OTTO per pump, OTTO Plus & OTTO for Systems)
    • Commissioning, Start-up & Onsite Training
    • Preventive Maintenance programs and Full-Service Contracts
    • Bulk Parts Inventory Sales and Management
    • Service Center Repairs, dedicated Exchange programs & pump rentals
    • Leak detection Services
    • Aftermarket Extended Warranties
  • Conduct individual and joint customer visits with RSM and Field Service Technicians.
  • Generate and present quotations to our customers.
  • Enter and track all customer visits, leads, and opportunities in the CRM.
  • Responsible for service sales and service growth with existing and new customers within the assigned territory.
  • Work with Business Development Managers on Service presentations within specific market segments.
  • Maintain company records and files.
  • Maintain, in good working order and physical condition, a company vehicle and other company equipment.
  • Utilize expense accounts with prudent judgment.

  • 3+ years of sales experience: Required
  • Vacuum or rotating industrial capital equipment experience: Highly Preferred
  • Sales experience within the customer base: Preferred:
    • Food processing, chemical, pharmaceutical, and aeronautical manufacturing
  • High degree of technical/mechanical proficiency and aptitude, including service or maintenance experience: Highly Preferred
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree: Highly Preferred
    •   Preferred Field of Study: Engineering, Science or Business
    • Applicable experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Computer skills: Intermediate knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office software

Job Requirements

  • Ability and willingness to pass a 9-panel drug screen and 7-year criminal history check.
    • Most felonies are a disqualifier, misdemeanors are considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • Must be willing and able to utilize all required PPE, as needed.
  • Must maintain a current valid driver’s license throughout employment.

 

Physical Requirements

  • Constant speaking
  • Frequent standing, walking, sitting, lifting/carrying/pushing pulling up to 10lbs
  • Occasional reaching above the shoulder, and lifting/carrying/pushing pulling up to 25lbs
  • All applicants must be able to hear and see audible and visual alarms and must be able to wear all required PPE, such as safety shoes, electrical hazards, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
