Busch Vacuum Technics Inc. is currently researching a Technical Sales Representative to join our team. This position was created to represent the Company and its sister companies to its customers. In addition, the technical representative is responsible for maximizing the business potential represented by the company’s existing and potential customers. He is responsible for the physical cover sheet of the Central Ontario territories assigned to him.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Navigate the Central Ontario territories efficiently in order to minimize travel costs.
Professionally and with integrity represent the company to new and potential customers. - Assess and leverage customer potential by generating business opportunities.
- Follow up on opportunities and close sales, maintain constant communication with customers.
- Visit a selected group of existing important customers on a regular basis in order to personalize the relationship with them.
- Follow up on all existing and potential customers in his territory in order to maintain the customer relationship.
- Build customer loyalty by generating maximum value from each opportunity and offering value-added solutions on equipment to ensure all required parts or supplies are ordered from the Company.
- Actively participate in the constant updating of the CRM database (opportunityentry, contacts, call report, etc.).
- Customer project management for cases requiring more involvement of the representative.
- Maintain knowledge by actively participating in training sessions.
- Communicate any relevant information on sales methods, techniques and sales tools; participate in drawing up marketing strategies, plans and tools; actively participate in the development of the company.
- Develop and deliver the various reports that contribute to the sales analysis in the required time.
- Perform any other tasks and assume any other responsibilities that may be assigned to him from time to time by his supervisor.
PREREQUISIST
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and member of the PEO preferably or DCS in mechanical engineering minimum. Equivalent experience will be considered.
- Four years of experience in a technical customer position.
ADDITIONAL COMPETENCES
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite software.
- Interpersonal communication skills. Listening skills.
- Negotiation skills and ability to close a sale.
- Analytical mind, autonomy, sense of responsibility and good time management.
