Busch Vacuum Technics Inc. is currently researching a Technical Sales Representative to join our team. This job has been created to ensure the sale of parts and service agreements to the Company's customers, to retain existing customers and to develop new customers who already use the Company's vacuum pumps and systems. This clientele will benefit from the best possible advice on the maintenance and service required to keep them running smoothly, and to optimize the use of the equipment they already own or have just acquired. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Cover the territory efficiently to minimize travel costs. Represent the company with professionalism and integrity to new and potential customers. Assess and exploit customer potential by generating business opportunities.
- Visit a select group of key customers on a regular basis to personalize the relationship.
- Follow up with customers, following a repair intervention, to ensure satisfaction and propose a service contract.
- Build customer loyalty by offering a service contract on equipment and a process to ensure that all required parts and supplies are ordered from the Company.
- Work to renew service contracts by meeting with customers.
- Together with his/her supervisor, establish and evaluate monthly sales targets for new and replacement pumps, spare parts, accessories and service contracts for existing customers in the territory.
- From company databases, work with supervisor to define a solicitation program for existing and new customers.
- Carry out a systematic follow-up according to the procedure established by the Internal Sales Supervisor. This follow-up will be useful for customers who have just purchased equipment shipped a few days earlier.
- Maintain a high level of administrative organization to handle files with the internal team.
- Perform such other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time by his/her supervisor.
PREREQUISIST
- DCS in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience or training.
- 2 years experience in repair or assembly.
- 2 years experience in a technical position dealing with customers.
ADDITIONAL COMPETENCES
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Knowledge of SAP-CRM (an asset).
- Bilingualism is required for this position. (French/English)
