Busch Vacuum Technics Inc. is currently researching a Service Product Manager to join our team. 

The person will be responsible to manage Service agreements and OTTO Digital Services (remote monitoring for vacuum pumps) as service products, providing commercial, analytical and technical support to the service department, focusing on the development of all service products, with special focus on the newly introduced products,
service agreements and OTTO Digital Services.The role will also support business retention and growth, as well as service quality, ensuring that our service portfolio is aligned and consistent.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Responsible for maintaining and continuously improving our services agreements, adapting to the constant changing market demands.    
  2. Provide technical support for customers and employees on new and existing service products (OTTO, agreements, etc.)   
  3. Support the sales and service teams in the field for the sales and after-sales support of service products under his responsibility. This would include customer visits across Canada.
  4. Coordinate and provide training activities for new and existing service products, to coworkers (service, sales, systems) and customers.     
  5. Work with the Inside Sales and Systems teams to integrate technically and commercially service products (OTTO) in our Systems offering and configurations.  
  6. Work with Marketing team to develop commercial campaigns for all service products. 
  7. Responsible for the definition and development of new service products. In close collaboration with Sales and Business Development departments to establish our service product roadmap.
  8. With the support of Global, must be the link between Sales Team, Service Team and Global Teams.
  9. Perform all other tasks and responsibilities that may be assigned by the supervisor.

 

FOCUS PRODUCTS

The product manager will be focusing on the newly added products to the service department

(points .5 - 8) their focus will be divided on the new 2 products as per the table below

  • Service agreements    50%   
  • OTTO Digital Services (remote monitoring for vacuum pumps).  50%

 

PREREQUISITES

  • Professional degree or college certificate in sales or marketing with strong technical industrial experience.
    Or Professional degree or college certificate in a technical field (mechanical or electrical) with experience in product management, sales or marketing. 
  • Technical sales background (preferred)
  • Experience in customer service in a technical or industrial environment.

 

 

SPECIFIC SKILLS

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite software, CRM-Excel
  • Analytical thinking, autonomy, sense of customer service, team spirit, proactivity, rigorousness, social skills and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Bilinguism (French & English )  written and spoken
