Under the supervision of the Continuous Improvement Manager - Lean Expert, the Quality and Continuous Improvement Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining and improving the company's quality management system, including active participation in the development of action plans for the implementation of improving projects and the development of the company's Lean culture.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement quality management plan actions to maintain ISO 9001:2015 and N299.3 certifications;
- Participate in the development of action plans for the implementation of Lean and continuous improvement projects;
- Documentary management of the Quality system;
- Manage non-conformities and customer complaints in collaboration with the relevant stakeholders to determine, if necessary, the causes and corrective actions required;
- Monitor equipment calibration, coordinate external calibration and keep instrument register and calibration certificate up to date;
- Carry out quality control of certain parts for specific projects as required (e.g. visual inspection, dimensional reports, labeling, packaging, photos);
- Coordinate employee health and safety training;
- Manage the improvement proposal program;
- Train, communicate and raise staff awareness of quality system and procedures;
- Prepare and follow up on internal and external audits for the three sites;
- Prepare quality reports and communicate process performance;
- Perform any other tasks and assume any other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time by his/her supervisor (ad hoc tasks or responsibilities);
- Respond to various internal requests relating to the Quality system (e.g. new documentation);
- Participate in the development of the company's OHS program;
PREQUISITES
- DEC in industrial engineering or related field;
- Certificate in process and quality improvement (an asset);
- Minimum two (2) years' experience in a similar position.
SPECIAL SKILLS
- Knowledge of quality standards ISO 9001: 2015, N299 (Asset), Lean tools;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, power point);
- Bilingualism is required for this job. (French/English);
- Demonstrate good judgment, a good sense of autonomy, team spirit, proactivity and thoroughness, organizational skills and attention to detail.
