Busch Vacuum LLC has an immediate direct-hire opportunity open for an Inventory Control Clerk at our service center in Austin, Texas. The work hours are 6am to 3pm CST.
The Inventory Control Clerk generates outbound advice and picking lists for multiple origins and coordinates delivery of picking lists to applicable departments and areas while ensuring transactions are performed according to departmental processes and the Busch shipping policy.

Job Responsibilities
- Assist, as necessary, with training, floor coverage, and warehousing
- Generate outbound advice and picking lists for sales, distribution, service, and manual transfers in a sequence that prioritizes allocations
- Review, manage and sort orders and picking list to distribute to warehouse personnel by type of shipment
- Coordinate with Customer Service to identify orders that need corrections or clarification
- Generate and process cycle counts and research discrepancies, generate cycle count recounts as necessary
- Perform required departmental paperwork duties
- Temporarily assumes the responsibilities of the Production Control Clerk as needed
- Assist with the implementing and maintaining of 5S and Lean activities to improve flow and reduce waste
- Investigate errors/issues for root cause determination
- Synchronize problem solving and maintain effective communication between departments
- Provide office supplies for staff and maintain adequate stocks (ordering new supplies, identifying new suppliers, and obtaining the best price)
- Provide administrative and general support to the Warranty Manager
- Provide backup support for phone calls, tasks, and other job duties as needed
Required Experience
- 2+ years of inventory control or related experience: Required
- Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, prior experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and CRM (Customer Relationship Management), and database management: Preferred
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
- Associate’s Degree (two-year college or technical school): Preferred

- Must possess strong written and oral English communication skills
- Must possess a high degree of integrity, accountability, and dependability
- Must be detail-oriented and have good decision-making ability
- Must possess good leadership skills and initiative
Job Requirements
- Ability and willingness to pass a 10-panel drug screen, 7-year criminal history check
- Must be willing and able to utilize all required PPE
Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing, walking, sitting, lifting/carrying/pushing pulling up to 25lbs
- Occasional climbing, squatting, kneeling, bending, reaching outward and/or above the shoulder, and lifting/carrying/pushing pulling up to 50lbs
- All applicants must be able to hear and see audible and visual alarms and must be able to wear all required PPE, such as safety shoes, electrical hazards, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
