Global Product Cost Controller
Location: Apahida, Nervia Industrial Park, Cluj – Hybrid work model with 8 days/month from home
Industry: Manufacturing
Level: Senior (minimum 5 years’ experience)

Your Role:
As our Global Product Cost Controller, you will be the strategic owner of product cost structures across our global manufacturing footprint. From Bills of Materials to lifecycle costing, you’ll ensure accuracy, transparency, and actionable insights that drive margin improvement and smart decision-making. This is a high-impact role that collaborates closely with finance, engineering, operations, and product management teams worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and maintain global standards product cost structures (BOMs, routings, overheads, logistics, etc.)
- Build and analyze cost models for new and existing products
- Support make-or-buy, pricing, and investment decisions
- Collaborate with plant controllers, engineering, and operations teams worldwide
- Provide consolidated reporting and monitor cost variances
- Ensure consistency and accuracy of cost data across all manufacturing sites
- Analyze cost drivers and simulate the financial impact of product or process changes
- Participate in global product development and industrialization projects to ensure cost transparency from concept to launch
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to product cost efficiency
- Support internal and external audits regarding cost structure and reporting compliance
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, or related field and 5 years of professional experience in Controlling
- Strong background in product costing, cost accounting and manufacturing finance
- Proficient in SAP (CO-PA/PP), Excel, and BI tools
- Excellent analytical, communication, and influencing skills
- Fluent in written and spoken English (mandatory)
