Busch Vacuum Solutions is a leading manufacturer of vacuum pumps, compressors, and blowers for use in industries such as semiconductor manufacturing, food processing, metallurgy, biomedical, and material handling.
Busch Vacuum Solutions is looking for a Field Service Supervisor to oversee and enhance the day-to-day operations of Field Service Technicians while supporting revenue growth through proactive sales collaboration. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer experiences by ensuring accurate job scoping (65/35 split between fieldwork and administrative responsibilities), expanding technical capabilities, empowering technicians to deliver a broader range of services, and fostering upselling and cross-selling opportunities. The Field Service Supervisor ensures the team exceeds customer expectations, achieves operational excellence, and contributes to business development by integrating service and sales strategies.
Travel up to 65% is required, after-hours and weekend hours are required, as needed.

Job Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for field-based customers during the scoping phase of service requests.
- Accurately define job requirements, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and technical feasibility.
- Supervise and support Field Service Technicians in daily operations, including scheduling, service delivery, and performance.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Drive initiatives to introduce new services, tools, and methodologies to the field team.
- Conduct regular field audits to ensure adherence to safety, quality, and technical protocols.
- Collaborate with sales and service teams to identify opportunities for additional service offerings and revenue growth.
- Establish and monitor revenue goals for the Field Service team, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Support the sales team by providing technical expertise during customer interactions to close sales opportunities.
- Develop and implement training programs to expand the technical skillsets of Field Service Technicians, including sales-oriented training.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics, implementing corrective actions to meet operational and sales goals.
- Proactively address customer feedback and concerns, driving solutions that enhance satisfaction.
- Partner with customers to identify long-term service needs, creating tailored solutions to build loyalty.
Required Experience
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within Field Service or a related industry required.
- Experience in developing and delivering technical training programs preferred.
- Experience in sales, business development, or customer relationship management within a Field Service or related industry preferred.
- Demonstrated success in developing revenue strategies and achieving sales targets.
Personal Qualifications
- Strong technical understanding of [industry-specific systems/products] required.
- Education: Associate’s Degree in Engineering, Technical, or Business Management Preferred
- Computer skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, SAP experience Preferred
Job Requirements
- Travel up to 65% of the time
- Ability and willingness to pass a 9-panel drug screen, 7-year criminal history check
- Must be willing and able to utilize all required PPE
- Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing, walking, sitting, squatting or kneeling
- Occasional reaching above the shoulder, climbing, and lifting/carrying/pushing pulling up to 50lbs climbing
